Questt App

Questt is a remarkable homework app that lets teachers assign objective & subjective homework by choosing from a question bank. It also gamifies homework for students.

Questt helps teachers evaluate homework/assignments 10x faster and captures 100x more data points than any other existing system.

While Questt automates the teacher’s job, it fundamentally disrupts education by replacing marks/grades with data-driven analysis.

[Funding alert] Questt raises Rs 9.6 Cr in seed round led by Chiratae Ventures, AET Fund

The round also saw the participation of marquee entrepreneurs such as Snapdeal Founders Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal, 91springboard Founder Pranay Gupta, Livspace Co-founder Ramakant Sharma, Razorpay founders, and First Cheque.

The start-up said over 40 schools in the country are using its platform and within 50 days of the launch, over 1 million questions have been answered on Questt.

 Associate Product Manager (Retention)

Number of openings: 2
Location: Bangalore

What will you be doing:

  1. Speak to users to understand the pain points and look at data to create cohorts where users(both teachers and students) are struggling to find the value out of Questt.

  2. Take product initiatives to work on adding value to these cohorts and increase retention.

  3. Convert these ideas into an executable plan and work with the engineering, design, and distribution team to execute these ideas.

  4. Analyze the impact and decide further course of action.

Skills and Requirements:

  1. 1+ years of experience in product management. Preferably at a growth stage consumer product startup.

  2. Ability to innovate and demonstrable history of executing ideas.

  3. Data-Driven with proficiency in data querying and analysis. Experience with tools like SQL, Excel, Tableau, etc. is preferred.

  1. Product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and user requirements.

  2. Defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure retention goals are met.

Skills and Requirements:

  1. 2.5+ years of experience in product management. Preferably at a growth stage consumer product startup.

  2. Demonstratable history of launching and scaling products.

  3. An engineering/coding background is a plus.

  4. B.Tech from tier 1 college is a plus.

 SDE II (Backend)

Location: Bangalore/Goa

Overview: Hands-on technologists, who will help us architect and design of large-scale, multi-tiered, microservice based distributed software systems and services using object-oriented design, distributed programming, PHP, NodeJS, Python etc.


  1. Collaborate with cross functional teams, gathering business and functional requirements, to solve complex problems by building high volume transactional systems that handle massive data and high traffic.

  2. Be a part of the full development life cycle, end-to-end from scoping, effort estimation, risk identification, implementation and testing, while meeting project schedules and timelines.

  3. Work on (and recommend) the best technologies, components on server side tech. Proactively identify architectural weaknesses, design issues, performance and scalability issues, and recommend solutions.

  4. Complete ownership of problem-free execution of owned modules and solutions, with focus on code optimisation, code quality, maintainability etc.

  5. Balance short-term versus long-term actions, strategic versus tactical requirements, while continuing to move forward towards the strategic vision.


  1. BE/B.Tech in computer science or equivalent experience from top college, with 3-6 years of hands-on experience in design/development of building massively large scale, microservice based, high traffic Node.js applications (including and Express or similar)

  2. Excellent data structure & algorithm and problem solving skills, full-stack knowledge and (preferred) application architectural experience and/or understanding

  3. Proficiency in multiple programming language, both dynamic and strongly typed object oriented languages. Knowledge of one or more of: PHP, Python, Couchbase, DynamoDB, NoSQL, Terraform, Cassandra, Redis, AWS etc.

  4. End user-focused, react well to changes, work with teams and able to multi-task while enjoying challenging assignments in a high-energy, fast growing and start-up workplace.

  5. Familiarity with Agile development, Scrums, continuous integration, and test driven development processes

  6. Prior startup experience of large scale B2C product company background is preferred
